This project holds special meaning for me. Originally, it was part of the historic Hotel Del Monte, one of the iconic lodgings along the famed 17-Mile Drive. We were entrusted with the demolition phase, during which we carefully salvaged and recycled all the original Carmel Stone every piece of which was repurposed and we used entirely in this project.
Although we now specialize in landscaping, our background spans a wide range of construction disciplines, which continues to enrich the work we do today.
Interestingly, my own home was once part of the Hotel Del Monte as well originally used by hunters during the resort’s earlier days. It still has the old game hanging rack(where they would hang meat after a hunt), a unique and rustic detail that connects me personally to the history of the area.
This deep connection to place, history, and material is something we carry into every project, blending craftsmanship, sustainability, and heritage into thoughtful, lasting landscapes.
Constructed with high-grade aluminum coated in durable powder coat paint and finished with vinyl composite boards, our Euro Fence is a low-maintenance solution that never requires painting or staining. Made primarily from recycled wood and polyethylene, it offers the natural beauty of wood without the upkeep.
The most efficient way to invigorate plants is by applying essential nutrients directly to their leaves. This method enhances nutrient absorption and plant vitality.
We specialize in converting sloped or unusable terrain into functional and inviting recreational areas, combining landscaping techniques with ecological balance.
Using our custom-designed Ferty Irrigation System, we deliver fertilizers and biostimulants directly to plant roots in a slow-release, eco-balanced manner. This method ensures efficient nutrient delivery and long-term plant health.
Our stonework includes projects like the repurposing of Carmel Stone salvaged during the demolition of older structures. We give new life to natural stone, incorporating it beautifully into landscape designs.
Drought-Resistant Landscaping For Pollinators
Create a small oasis with wildflower gardens that bring joy and vibrancy to your home. Using advanced soil restoration techniques, we specialize in cultivating native flora that supports local biodiversity.
We use drought-tolerant plants that not only require minimal water but also attract pollinators, enhancing both the beauty and ecological value of your garden.
We transform large natural stones into whispering waterfalls where water gently disappears among the rocks. Our systems feature auto-refill functions and equipment located away from the fountain for easy access and adjustment without disturbing the visual design.
At Advanced Garden Solutions, we specialize in premium low-voltage lighting solutions that elevate the ambiance, safety, and functionality of any outdoor or indoor space. Our approach blends cutting-edge technology, expert design, and high-performance components to deliver lighting systems that are not only energy-efficient but also built to last.
We proudly work with industry-leading manufacturers such as Kim Lighting, known for their precision engineering, durability, and innovative designs, and Lutron smart home systems.
I paid GoDaddy to build this website for me, and they did it twice. Both times, it was a total disaster. So guess what? I had to do it myself.
I manage several high-end properties, so I'm constantly dealing with contractors from all trades. And I always tell them:
“You’re here because you're supposed to be the pro. I expect top-quality work. If you need help, just ask, I know how to do it too. And if you screw it up? I’m gonna fix it myself... and trust me, it’ll be better than what you did.”
Unless my client says otherwise, of course... but you get the idea.
And I did my own website, after GoDaddy couldn't HAHAHA
